As anybody who has become stymied by overexposure to the outputs of the news-information-entertainment cycle(social network) recently perfected in the Internet age, can attest, curiosity's primary downfall is in addiction.Cobwebed by information: Read the popular pundits, peruse the important magazines, listen to news and opinion radio and the podcasts; share everything you know with everybody, you meet to brandish your social worth? Don the wardrobe and the countenance of the informed; this is the Information Age and the Give The Mule what he wants.
But why does that matter? Why cater to the trivial, dull-witted and pedantic at all?
For the year that just numerated ive been in fear every day and morning. So to ponder my fear and to surface the hoplessness forth back to one of my favourite Radiohead album Amnesiac and instigate the best I can.
Track 1: Packt Like Sardines In A Crushd Tin Box
This song opens up with subtle percussion programming the feel gets purely aboriginal and for all you catholics befooled by your Crucifix "I'm a reasonable man! Get off, get off, get off my case.."
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fqt6XP29wIA&feature=relatedA great song with trademark Thom humms, decepting lyrics.Song to cherish ones perception for goodwill 'There was nothing to fear and nothing to doubt' Total serenity.
Track 3: Pulk/Pull Revolving Doors
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f7jkMbTRfPs&feature=related
A TRAP just when the song kicks right from the begining, it will give you Goosebumps. Influenced by massive attack radiohead generates a strong wave of Electronic hymns with this track, Pardoxical lyrics and strong adjacent cubisim which breeds within the song, This is one of my favourite track.
Track 4: You and whose army
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gAUMgureA6o&feature=related
One of the best track of this album. Noble by the way it starts sets the tone for something big to happen, and the second the drums come in, it's like a kick in the face. there's a very complex overtone to the seemingly simple base for the lyrics. Bravo Radiohead
Track 5: I might be wrong
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8uN1Uq5lyv0&feature=related
My favourite track from Amnesiac probably the happiest composition, this song is One lucky Prize one can expect from the album. Opens up with Crunchy riff and funky groove sets a mind to surrender for self preservation and the changeover works as well again.
Track 6: Knives out
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3SZ1WpzBr9E&feature=related
A bit of Paranoid android kind of song good use of diminished chords.
Track :7 Morning bell
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CPQfiH78XaE
A song for the Communist/Nihilist.With jingle awaits for wits, a good mellow track for a Ego Trip.
Track:8 Dollars and Cents
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j_v2OsC9yT0
Powerful song which invokes some serious thought provoking conscience in context to todays global world,Thom yorke is the red flag here and this song raises a relevant siren, mellow stream line with amp booming bass leaves this song quite a unique one.
Track:9 Hunting Bears
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZWe-ZgjTrYE
Pure, Spiritual, True.Hunting bears is the only instrumental from the album and quite a imaginative one. Jonny Greenwood deliver sheer insanity with his guitar. IMO this track soots anyone even a Metalhead.
Track:10 Like spinning plates
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYzIksH67hA&feature=related
A quite Naughty song, with long fading out overtones and good use of loop.On thoms voice its just another elephant talk.
Track :11 Life in a glass house
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=upl_rxmsu6s&feature=related
yes i m hungry for lynching' the last tack from amnesiac is just a Retreat to fans. The Jazzy dissonance in the song can melt eardrums.
Now that i am done i dramatize with the night and will try to be a Good Nihilist.
